About Me

  • Academics

    I received my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2001.

    In 2003, I earned my Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington. My research was related to probabilistic methods for Mobile Robotics.

  • Experience

    I have been working as a Sofware Engineer since 2004. I have experience building distributed systems using RESTful design patterns as part of a service oriented architecture.

    While at Microsoft I shipped features in multiple versions of the Windows Operating System as part of the User Experience Group. I worked on features for the Live Tiles API in Windows 8 and Bing search integration in Windows 8.1. More recently at zulily I manage a team of software engineers building tools and automation solutions for the Vendor Operations team as well as supporting the Vendor Portal tools used by external vendors selling products on the zulily website.

  • Goals

    My interests lie in building interactive, multimedia or computer graphics based applications.

    I want to develop experiences which entertain people or allow people to express their creativity.
